Mehrnaz is also an actress/playwright and a painter. She participated in four plays, see directly below.

Mehrnaz starred in De Perzen (Aeschylus), a production by Albarica and Alan Yadegarian. In the musical theater piece she is Queen Atossa, Xerxes' mother. De Perzen was performed thirteen times with great success in the Netherlands and Belgium in 2008 and 2009.

Mehrnaz also played the leading role in the music theater piece 'Before you, just like you ...' by Theatergroep Brandend Geduld and the music ensemble Shandiz. The performance was based on a selection of poems by the Iranian poet M. Sereshk.

'Shapur' is based on Khosrow and Shirin, a Persian love story about two kings' children and the long struggle they had to fight to be together. Mehrnaz turned it into a musical narrative. She herself plays one of the leading roles as a singer.

Reza Allahmehzadeh made this teaser of Shapur:

'Dance theatre, written by Mehrnaz, with music, stories, singing and video projections in which the well-known fairy tale 'One Thousand and One Nights' is depicted in a completely new way, drawing attention to women's rights, all over the world, but especially in Iran where the slogan 'Woman Life Freedom' was created for a reason.

In 2014 Mehrnaz was interviewed by Abbas Samakar

In 2020 Iran International made the following portrait of Mehrnaz.
